Jean Emmanuel
Director of Respiratory Therapy

Jean Emmanuel Jr, BS, RRT, MS-HQPS is originally from Long Island, NY. He attended SUNY Upstate Medical University for his undergraduate degree in the Health Sciences with a focus on respiratory therapy.

 

He is currently the Director of Respiratory Therapy at Cold Spring Hills Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation where he has worked as a respiratory therapist since 2012. Since he started working at this skilled nursing facility, he has helped countless patients through their recoveries and continues to do so with grand expertise, dignity, and compassion.

 

His interest has always been about serving the local community, health policy, patient safety, and advocacy. The very concept of “Pikuach nefesh” is what drives him every day to offer the very best of himself to the benefit and well-being of his patients. This is his family legacy and he is proud to make it part of his daily work ethic.

Jean Emmanuel Jr later attended Stony Brook University’s post-graduate patient safety program where he earned his post-graduate certificate and he continued on to get his master’s degree in their Healthcare Quality and Patient Safety (HQPS) program.

 

Over the years, he has, with great success, combined his expertise in respiratory therapy, quality, and patient safety to deliver the best possible outcome to his patients.

Jean Emmanuel Jr, lives with his wife and young children, enjoys traveling, reading, and spending time outdoors. He is conversant in English, French, Haitian Creole, Spanish and currently learning Hebrew. He is very proud to work with the amazing team of practitioners here at Cold Spring Hills.
